KATHMANDU: At least four people were killed and 113 others injured in road accidents reported across Nepal over the past 24 hours, according to official data of Nepal Police.
Bagmati Province recorded the highest number of fatalities, with two deaths and 16 injuries. The Kathmandu Valley, tracked separately in official records, reported one death and 19 injuries, while Gandaki Province recorded one fatality and no injuries.
Madhesh Province reported the highest number of injuries, with 37 people hurt in various accidents, though no fatalities were recorded. Koshi Province documented 21 injuries, followed by Sudurpashchim Province with 12 and Lumbini Province with seven.
Karnali Province recorded the lowest casualty count, with one person injured and no deaths.
