LAHORE: Bushra Bibi, wife of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan, was shifted back to Adiala Jail on Friday after undergoing eye surgery at a private hospital in Rawalpindi.

She had been diagnosed with retinal detachment in her right eye following complaints of impaired vision and was operated on by a medical team led by Prof. Dr. Nadeem Qureshi. After a brief hospital stay, she was discharged and returned to custody, with follow-up care planned.

Bushra Bibi is serving multiple prison sentences in corruption cases, while her party has raised concerns over her health condition.
