KATHMANDU: A coordinated international expedition successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest (8,848.86m) on the morning of May 20, 2026.

Organized by Seven Summit Treks, the successful climb marks another major milestone in the current Himalayan climbing season, drawing together athletes from across the globe to stand on top of the world’s highest peak.

The successful summit team included international climbers Mike Harker of the United States, Bianca Jane Adler of Australia, Alfredo Cruz Sanchez of Mexico, Kristoffer Aasen Solem and Jakob Urth of Norway, and Regine Mai of Denmark.

The climbers were supported by a dedicated team of veteran Nepali Sherpa guides, including Lakpa Sherpa (Makalu Lakpa), Mingtemba Sherpa (Mikel), Pemba Chhiring Sherpa, Ngudu Sherpa, Lakpa Bhote, Mingtemba Sherpa, Pasang Sherpa, Ngima Ongda Sherpa, and Phurba Nurbu Sherpa.

All team members are currently managing their descents.
