KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has issued an interim order halting the government’s selection process for the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) board of directors.
A division bench of Judges Kumar Regmi and Shri Kanta Paudel ordered the Ministry of Tourism and the NAC selection committee to stop all appointment proceedings.
The ruling follows a lawsuit filed by candidate Upendra Bahadur Karki, who alleged he was unfairly dropped from the final selection despite making the competitive shortlist.
