KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division reports that a combination of western winds, local winds, and an eastern low-pressure system is currently influencing Nepal’s weather.
This system is triggering scattered rain and thunderstorms across the hilly and mountainous terrains of Gandaki, Koshi, Bagmati, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, keeping these regions mostly cloudy through tonight.
In contrast, the southern plains will experience vastly different conditions.
While the Terai regions of Madhesh, Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki are bracing for strong, gusty winds, the western Terai plains of Sudurpashchim and Lumbini will face an intensely hot day, accompanied only by light, isolated rainfall.
