The Kanti Lokpath (highway) connecting Kathmandu to Hetauda has been blocked. Transport services on the highway were disrupted due to landslides in Pandhure and Chhabeni of Bagmati Rural Municipality-2 of Lalitpur on Saturday night.

Spokesperson of District Police Office, Inspector Prakash Shah informed that the traffic from Hetauda to Thigan was also blocked due to a landslide at Siranchowk of Kanti Lokpath in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-8 of Makawanpur.

Works are on to clear the landslides in Pandhure and Chhabeni. According to the police, transport services are currently operating to and from Hetauda along the Tribhuvan Rajpath via Fakhel-Sisneri-Kulekhani-Matatirtha road.
