KATHMANDU: After rising consistently for the past three days, the price of gold has dropped today (Friday).
Gold prices, which had been increasing since Tuesday and reached Rs 171,000 per tola on Thursday, have declined by Rs 1,000 today.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers reports that the current market price of gold is now set at Rs 170,000 per tola.
Additionally, the price of silver has also decreased by Rs 5 per tola.
According to the federation, silver is being bought and sold for Rs 1,990 per tola today.
