KATHMANDU: CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has accused CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal of trying to dominate major parties, leading to his government’s downfall.

Speaking at an event in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Pokharel claimed that Dahal forgot he became prime minister with others’ support.

“When the Maoists tried to rule over bigger parties, we united,” Pokharel said, adding that the UML and Congress alliance aimed not just for power but to rescue the country from crisis.

“We are working together to revive the struggling economy, ensure good governance, and address growing public frustration,” he added.
