KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced planned power interruptions in various parts of Kathmandu today.

As per the notice released by the NEA, electricity will be unavailable in the Lazimpat, Panipokhari, and Baluwatar areas, which are connected to the Lazimpat feeder under the Maharajgunj Distribution Center.

The power disruption is scheduled to occur from 10 AM to 3 PM. The NEA has explained that the outage is required for testing and charging the underground transmission line in these regions.

The Authority also noted that if the work is completed before the designated time, power will be restored earlier than expected.
