KATHMANDU – Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official foreign exchange rates for today. As per the announcement, the buying rate for the US dollar is set at NPR 135.04, while the selling rate is NPR 135.64.

The euro is being exchanged at NPR 153.13 for buying and NPR 153.81 for selling. Likewise, one British pound is valued at NPR 179.55 for buying and NPR 180.35 for selling. The Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 163.91 and sold at NPR 164.64.

The Australian dollar is trading at NPR 86.91 for buying and NPR 87.30 for selling. The Canadian dollar is listed at NPR 97.71 for buying and NPR 98.14 for selling. Similarly, the Singapore dollar has a buying rate of NPR 104.19 and a selling rate of NPR 104.66.

In terms of Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are valued at NPR 9.35 for buying and NPR 9.39 for selling. The Chinese yuan is being exchanged at NPR 18.57 (buying) and NPR 18.65 (selling).

The Saudi riyal is priced at NPR 36.01 for buying and NPR 36.17 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is set at NPR 37.05 and NPR 37.21 respectively.

The Thai baht is trading at NPR 4.09 for buying and NPR 4.11 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at NPR 36.77 (buying) and NPR 36.93 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit at NPR 31.69 and NPR 31.83.

The rate for 100 South Korean won is NPR 9.65 for buying and NPR 9.69 for selling. The Swedish kronor is valued at NPR 13.99 (buying) and NPR 14.06 (selling), while the Danish kronor is priced at NPR 20.52 and NPR 20.61 respectively. The Hong Kong dollar is being traded at NPR 17.42 for buying and NPR 17.50 for selling.

As for higher-value currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is set at NPR 440.34 (buying) and NPR 442.30 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at NPR 358.18 and NPR 359.77, and the Omani rial at NPR 350.76 and NPR 352.32 respectively.

Likewise, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
