BAJURA: At least 23 people were injured when a passenger bus overturned near Ritha Bazaar in Budhiganga Municipality-10 along the Sanfe-Martadi highway today.

According to Police Inspector Naresh Bahadur Shahi of the District Police Office, the bus (registration number Su.Pa.Pra. 01 001 Kha 1355), which was heading from Mahendranagar carrying passengers, overturned in the middle of the road following a brake failure.

Upon receiving the information, a police team deployed to the scene immediately for rescue operations. All the injured passengers have been rushed to the District Hospital for treatment.
