KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ labeled the current government as one dominated by brokers, middlemen, and corrupts.

Speaking at the YCL Nepal Karnali Province Conference held in Birendranagar on Monday, Prachanda criticized the government’s failure to tackle corruption effectively.

He remarked, “I had said, ‘If Prachanda’s files are in the palace, open them.’ But they did not have the courage to do so because there was nothing against me. We have always talked about good governance, justice, and equality.”

Prachanda further added that his commitment to fighting corruption to establish the foundations of socialism did not sit well with those in power, leading to his exclusion from the government.
