KATHMANDU: The Embassy of India in Nepal hosted 50 Grade 11 and 12 students from five schools in Kathmandu under its “Connect with the Indian Embassy” outreach program, providing them with an opportunity to learn about the embassy’s operations.
According to the embassy, the students visited various sections of the mission, including the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, and received an overview of the functioning of the diplomatic mission.
The students were also briefed on India-Nepal relations by the embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission before interacting with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava.
The embassy said the initiative aims to give young people first-hand exposure to the work of the Indian mission and plans to expand the program to include more schools across the country in future editions.
