KATHMANDU: The poster of the movie ‘The Blue Light’ has been released. The production team released the poster of the movie on Sunday.

The poster features Benisha Hamal, one of the film’s lead actors. She is shown at a bar. She is tense, holding a cigarette between her fingers.

In the poster, which features a combination of blue lights, her getup, the tension on her face, the glass of wine in front of her, and the cigarette in her finger indicate that she is a bargirl.

It can be assumed that it is the tension after someone betrayed her by making promises. But the production team has not clarified this. The production team has stated that they will gradually reveal Benisha’s role and the story of the film.

The poster suggests that the film is not about the tension, the dark side, and the psychology of Kathmandu’s colorful nightlife. However, it is not clear.

The shooting of this movie has started last Thursday. The shooting schedule of the movie, which will be shot in various locations within the Kathmandu Valley, is 20 days.

‘The Blue Light’ is being directed by Baliram Chauhan. Chauhan is the writer and chief assistant director of the currently awaited film ‘Balidan’. This is his directorial debut.

The theme poster of the film has already been released. The theme poster shows a girl standing amidst a blue environment. The poster shows the girl from the waist up. Her curly hair and awkward posture reflect the mysterious and psychological background of the film.

‘The Blue Light’ stars Benisha in the lead roles along with Arpan Thapa, Mahesh Tripathi, Ayusman Deshraj Joshi, Benisha Hamal, Shrishti Shrestha, and Suraksha Itani. The child actors in the film include Grisha Katuwal and Sahara Sharma.

The psychological thriller film, to be produced by Genrama, is being presented by Skyfall Pictures. Raman Gray will be the co-producer of ‘The Blue Light’. Cinematographer Narendra Mainali and actress Benisha Hamal will be the executive producers. The cinematography of the film will be done by Narendra Mainali.

The film, directed by Akash Ukheda, features Relija Shrestha as the production designer and Dilip Pant as the production controller.

Director Chauhan has said that ‘The Blue Light’ will be released within 2025.
