KATHMANDU: The Department of Transport Management has temporarily halted all services related to the driver’s license system starting Friday, July 4, following technical difficulties.

According to an official notice issued by the department, the driver’s license system—covering the Electronic Driving License (EDL) platform, online application services, and the urgent license issuance system—has encountered problems that have forced a complete suspension of these services.

The department is actively working to resolve the issue but has not yet provided a timeline for restoration. All driver’s license-related services will remain unavailable until further notice.

Commuters and applicants are advised to stay updated through official channels for announcements regarding the resumption of services.
