RASUWA: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has returned after conducting an on-site inspection of the damage caused by flooding in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district.
During his visit, PM Oli discussed the extent of the damage, ongoing rescue and relief efforts with local administration officials, people’s representatives, and residents.
He expressed concern over missing persons, damage to the Rasuwa Customs dry port at the Nepal–China border, and the loss of cargo containers swept away by the flood.
The prime minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal Eknarayan Aryal, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song, Chief of Army Staff, and heads of all four security agencies.
