KATHMANDU: The National Assembly of the Federal Parliament is scheduled to convene today at 12:15 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar.
Today’s agenda includes a discussion on an urgent proposal of public importance registered by lawmakers Sumitra BC (proponent), Urmila Aryal, Kamala Panta, and others.
The proposal highlights the need for special provisions to ensure a safe, dignified, and quality life for senior citizens.
Additionally, Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka, is scheduled to present a proposal to deliberate on the Water Resources Bill, 2081, which has been received from the House of Representatives along with a message.
Likewise, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak will present a proposal for consideration on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081, also received from the House of Representatives with a message.
