RASUWA:  The bodies of two youths who went missing while swimming in Gosaikunda, Rasuwa on Sunday have been found.

According to the Nepal Army, the bodies were recovered on Monday morning during a search operation.

The deceased have been identified as 28-year-old Sujan Dhakal of Biratnagar and Manoj Neupane of Belbari, both from Morang district.

It is suspected that they drowned after entering a deep section of the sacred lake to bathe.

Search efforts had begun on Sunday itself, with personnel from the Nepal Army’s Shreenath Battalion, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force deployed to the site.
