KATHMANDU: On Saturday, several highways across the country have been obstructed due to floods and landslides.

According to data released by Nepal Police at 10 AM today, five locations in the country have been completely blocked, while vehicle movement is possible on only one side at seven other locations.

According to the police, the Koshi Highway at Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-8 in Sankhuwasabha is entirely blocked.

Similarly, in Rasuwa, the bridge connecting the Nepal-China border at Gosainkunda Rural Municipality-2, the Pasang Lhamu Road section at Gosainkunda Rural Municipality-2 and 3, and the Galchi-Trishuli to Mailung-Syafru section at Uttargaya Rural Municipality-5 are all fully closed.

Likewise, in Rukum West, the Jajarkot-Dolpa Bheri Corridor Road section at Aathbiskot Municipality-6 has also been entirely blocked due to flooding.
