KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 139.77, and the selling rate is NPR 140.37.

The buying rate for one Euro is NPR 159.51, and the selling rate is NPR 160.20. The buying rate for one British Pound Sterling is NPR 184.02, and the selling rate is NPR 184.81. For one Swiss Franc, the buying rate is NPR 171.28, and the selling rate is NPR 172.01.

The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 89.88, and the selling rate is NPR 90.26. For one Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 100.77, and the selling rate is NPR 101.20. The buying rate for one Singapore Dollar is NPR 107.67, and the selling rate is NPR 108.13.

For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.30, and the selling rate is NPR 9.34. One Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 19.38 and a selling rate of NPR 19.46. One Saudi Arabian Riyal is being bought at NPR 37.26 and sold at NPR 37.42, while one Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 38.34 and a selling rate of NPR 38.51.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is NPR 4.26 and the selling rate is NPR 4.27. One UAE Dirham is being bought at NPR 38.05 and sold at NPR 38.22. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 32.68 and a selling rate of NPR 32.82. For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is NPR 9.96 and the selling rate is NPR 10.00.

The buying rate for one Swedish Krona is NPR 14.24 and the selling rate is NPR 14.30. One Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 21.37 and a selling rate of NPR 21.47.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 17.81 and the selling rate at NPR 17.88. One Kuwaiti Dinar is being bought at NPR 456.53 and sold at NPR 458.49. One Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 370.74 and a selling rate of NPR 372.33. The buying rate for one Omani Riyal is NPR 363.02 and the selling rate is NPR 364.58.

The exchange rate for INR 100 is set at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.

The central bank noted that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time if needed. It also mentioned that commercial banks may set different rates, and the updated exchange rates are available on the official website of Nepal Rastra Bank.
