BAGLUNG: A landslide has obstructed the Mid-Hill Highway at Tarakhase, Kathekhola Rural Municipality-6 in Baglung district.
Due to the blockage on this road, which is a part of the National Pride Project, both long-distance and short-distance vehicles have been unable to operate since last night.
According to Police Inspector Keshav Thapa of the District Police Office Baglung, the landslide, accompanied by mudflow, has halted vehicles traveling from Baglung, Rolpa, Rukum, Jajarkot, Dolpa, Gulmi, and other areas heading towards Pokhara, Kathmandu, and beyond.
He informed that discussions are ongoing with the Highway Office to clear the debris and resume vehicular movement.
He added that it will take some more time for the road to reopen.
