MYAGDI: An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck Myagdi district’s Gurjakhani area at 1:02 PM today.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center and the Department of Mines and Geology, the earthquake’s local magnitude (ML) was recorded at 4.5.

No reports of human casualties or significant physical damage have been received so far, the center informed.

Tremors were felt in Myagdi and surrounding districts.
