MAHENDRANAGAR: Movement of four-wheeled vehicles has been halted on the Sharada Barrage after a significant rise in the water level of the Mahakali River.

The flow of the river has reached 103,000 cusecs, prompting authorities to enforce the ban on vehicle movement across the barrage.

The restriction is applied whenever the water flow in the Mahakali River exceeds 100,000 cusecs.

The water level continues to rise, and authorities are monitoring the situation closely.
