KATHMANDU: Today, Nepal will take on Bangladesh in the first of two friendly international football matches.
The match will kick off at 5:30 PM at Dasharath Stadium. Both teams will enter the field aiming for victory. The games are scheduled according to the international window.
So far, Nepal and Bangladesh have faced each other in 24 international matches, with Nepal winning 13, Bangladesh 8, and 3 matches ending in draws.
Nepal is treating this match as preparation for the remaining fixtures of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers.
The second match between Nepal and Bangladesh will be held on September 9.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has stated that if the results of both games are tied, the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout.
