SALYAN: Three people died on the spot in a vehicle accident in Salyan, while four others were injured.

According to Ramesh Khatri, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Salyan, the vehicle with registration number Lu 2 Kha 6502, traveling from Rukum to Dang, met with an accident today morning at Chorkhola, Kapurkot-3, Salyan.

The deceased include one woman and two men, whose identities have not yet been confirmed. The injured were first treated at Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur, Dang, and later referred to Nepalgunj.

Police reported that the condition of the injured is serious. Authorities said the bus fell approximately 400 meters off the road.

Police are investigating the incident.
