KAILALI: One person died and another was injured when a scooter met with an accident last night at Rajpur of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-13 in Kailali.

The scooter crashed into a road divider after going uncontrolled all of a sudden, resulting in the death of rider Pranjal Bam, 24, of Purchaudi municipality-8 in Baitadi, said Sudurpaschim Province Traffic Office’s Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tek Bahadur Jora. Bam was rushed to the Maya Metro Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Injured Saroj Bam, 26, who was pillion-riding the scooter ( Su Pa Pra 011011 PA 4473), is being treated at the same hospital.
