DHANUSHA: The recent Gen-Z movement in Madhesh Province left a trail of destruction, with 90 police posts and 207 government offices vandalized or set ablaze, causing an estimated loss of Rs7 crore 31 lakh 22 thousand.

According to the Madhesh Province Police Office, all damaged offices have since been repaired and resumed operations. Police personnel displaced during the unrest have also returned to duty.

Officials said that protesters torched vehicles worth Rs2 crore 6 lakh 78 thousand 380 during the demonstrations.
