KATHMANDU: All domestic flights have been temporarily suspended at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) due to continuous rainfall since this morning.
According to TIA spokesperson Rinji Sherpa, domestic flight operations have been halted for the past 20 minutes because of poor weather conditions.
“Flights to all domestic destinations were operating normally earlier this morning, but have now been suspended due to rain,” Sherpa told Nepal News.
However, international flights are operating as scheduled without any disruption.
Sherpa said domestic flights will resume once weather conditions improve and visibility returns to normal levels.
