KATHMANDU: Yubaraj Gurung, also known as “Sanu Bhai,” who has a criminal background, has been arrested from Tokha.

He was taken into custody for allegedly threatening an individual.

Authorities noted that Gurung has a history of similar offenses.

He had previously been arrested in July, 2023 and again in January, 2024 from Thamel.

Gurung, originally from Nuwakot, was involved with the group of Kumar Ghainte, who was killed in a police encounter.

After Ghainte’s death, Gurung gained notoriety for appearing in bulletproof clothing.
