BHAIRAHAWA: A rescue flight was carried out from Bhairahawa after continuous rainfall left passengers stranded.
Nepal Airlines’ Airbus A320 landed in Bhairahawa at 3:43 PM with 76 passengers onboard.
The aircraft then departed back to Kathmandu at 5:40 PM, carrying 157 passengers.
Priority in the rescue operation was given to the disabled, elderly, sick, and those with urgent travel needs.
