KATHMANDU: With Dashain now over, the number of travelers returning to Kathmandu from rural areas has risen.

Continuous rain and damaged road networks had blocked several highways, making it difficult for people to enter the capital.

To reduce risk, the government had closed some entry points from October 4–6.

After repairing roads damaged by floods and landslides, the flow of travelers entering Kathmandu has increased since early morning.

Along with incoming traffic, the number of travelers leaving Kathmandu is also high.
