SANDHIKHARKA: Two people were killed and two others seriously injured in a motorcycle accident at Chhatradev Rural Municipality–1, Saurekhola, Arghakhanchi.

According to the District Police Office, the collision occurred on Wednesday evening between two motorcycles.

The deceased have been identified as Tara Belbase, 21, of Panini Rural Municipality–5, and Suman Sunar, 35, of Chhatrakot Rural Municipality–6, Gulmi.

Both were riding the motorcycles involved. Eighteen-year-old Deepa Belbase of Arghakhanchi and 44-year-old Suraj Sunar of Gulmi, who were pillion passengers, sustained serious injuries.

They have been referred to Palpa for further treatment, police inspector Jhalak Prasad Sharma said. Police said further investigation into the accident is underway.
