KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff Ashokraj Sigdel on Sunday presented the insignia of Lieutenant General to Major General Ganeshkumar Shrestha at the Nepal Army Headquarters.

The Army’s Public Relations and Information Directorate confirmed that Shrestha’s promotion was approved by the Cabinet.

The ceremony was attended by fellow Lieutenant Generals and the families of the promoted officers.
