KATHMANDU: The influence of western winds has been observed over Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

The department stated that on Wednesday afternoon, partial cloud cover is expected over the hilly regions of Sudurpaschim Province and other mountainous areas of the country, while the rest of the regions will experience mainly clear weather.

There is a possibility of light rainfall in a few places of the hilly and Himalayan areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Likewise, the weather bulletin mentions that one or two places in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces may also witness light rain or snowfall.

According to the bulletin, tonight the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions, including Sudurpaschim Province, and generally clear in other parts of the country.

The department further noted that there is a chance of light rain or snowfall in one or two areas of the hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
