KATHMANDU: Actress Richa Sharma has said that a great journey of transformation is possible through small steps.

She made the remarks after meeting Prime Minister Sushila Karki. “A great journey of change begins with small steps,” she stated.

Expressing her thoughts after the meeting, Sharma said she was encouraged by the courage and confidence shown by the new government at a time when the nation is emerging from a period of major setbacks.

“My meeting with the Prime Minister felt like meeting a wise guardian,” she wrote on Facebook.

“On this golden path of change, I hope that citizens, too, will act responsibly and play a significant role. If everyone joins hands in the upcoming elections and moves forward together, the day will surely come when we can smile with satisfaction envisioning the country’s future,” she added.

Prime Minister Karki had held discussions with Sharma and several other artists on Tuesday.
