KATHMANDU: A dry landslide has once again blocked the Narayanghat-Mughling road section at Khahare Khola. The landslide, which initially occurred at 8:30 AM today, was cleared and traffic was resumed at 1:15 PM, but another landslide struck at 2:50 PM, obstructing the road again.

According to Engineer Arjun Ghimire of the Division Road Office, Chitwan, it will take at least two hours to clear the debris. He noted that the risk of further landslides remains high, and vehicular movement has been halted as clearance work has begun. The dry landslide, accompanied by boulders, fell from a height of forty meters.

This highway serves as a vital lifeline for Kathmandu, with over 10,000 vehicles traveling through the route daily.
