KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver in the domestic market dropped today compared to yesterday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been set at Rs 239,900 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Monday, following a decline of Rs 2,000 compared to the price on Sunday.
Similarly, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 35 per tola today and is being traded at Rs 2,980 per tola.
Gold is currently being traded at USD 4,075 per ounce in the international market, it is said.
