BAJURA: A bus accident occurred today in Serkatiya, Budhinanda Municipality–7, Bajura, on the Martadi–Kolti road, injuring 30 people.

The bus, Su Pra 01–001 Kha 3181, traveling from Kolti to Dhangadhi, met with the accident this afternoon, according to the District Police Office.

Of the injured, 24 are being treated at Bajura District Hospital, seven at Kolti Primary Hospital, and four referred to Dhangadhi for further treatment.

Police reported the accident occurred while loading luggage on an uphill stretch in Serkatiya.The bus driver has fled, and further investigation is underway.
