KATHMANDU: A person who was seriously injured after being hit on the head by a falling rock along the Manaslu trekking route has been rescued safely.

According to the Nepal Police, the rescue operation was carried out with the joint efforts of Gorkha District Police Office, health workers, and local residents.

The injured individual received immediate medical attention after being brought to safety, police said.
