KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the local market decreased on Tuesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 1,400 per tola today, settling at Rs 238,300.

On Monday, gold was traded at Rs 239,700 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver also dropped by Rs 45 per tola today. The price of silver, which traded at Rs 3,060 per tola on Monday, settled at Rs 3,015 per tola on Tuesday.
