KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that no significant weather system is currently affecting the country.

However, light rain with snowfall is likely in some high-altitude areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

According to the Division, the weather remains partly cloudy over the hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country is mainly clear.

This afternoon, partial clouds are expected in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki, with mostly fair skies elsewhere.

A few locations in the Himalayan areas of these two provinces may experience light rainfall accompanied by snowfall.

Tonight, partial cloudiness will persist in the hilly parts of Koshi Province, while most other regions will see clear skies, the Division added.
