JANAKPUR: The Council of Ministers has been expanded today on the recommendation of Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav.
Accordingly, Chief Minister Yadav has been given the responsibility of the Office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, the Ministry of Land, Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Ministry of Sports and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Home, Communications and Law, the Ministry of Forests and Environment amd the Ministry of Labor and Transport, according to a press release issued by the acting secretary of the Province Chief’s Office, Shatrudhan Yadav.
Likewise, Mahesh Prasad Yadav has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance, Jangi Lal Raya the Ministry of Health and Population, Jawahar Lal Kushwaha the Ministry of Energy, Irrigation and Drinking Water, Rani Kumari Tiwari the Ministry of Education and Culture, and Kanish Patel has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
The press release also mentioned that the newly appointed ministers took the oath of office and secrecy before the province chief at a ceremony held at the provincial chief’s office today.
