KATHMANDU: Hari Dharel has been appointed as Consul General of Denmark to Nepal.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the proposal of Government of Denmark, promoted Dharel, who is also Honorary Consul since 2017, recently to the post of Consul General.
He was promoted to the post as per Nepal’s Honorary Consul Regulation 2039. He is involved in mountain tourism sector of Nepal for the past 35 years. Dharel is active in diplomatic sector for the past eight years and is carrying out activities to expand Nepal-Denmark relations to people’s level.
There is a close relation between the two countries and he would be active in further expanding the relations to people’s level, said Dharel.
