KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the rates set for today, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 142.54 and the selling rate is NPR 143.14.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European Euro is NPR 166.91 and the selling rate is NPR 167.61. The UK Pound Sterling has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 190.70 and a selling rate of NPR 191.51. The Swiss Franc is set at a buying rate of NPR 179.22 and a selling rate of NPR 179.97.

The buying rate of one Australian Dollar is NPR 94.25 and the selling rate is NPR 94.64. The Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 103.28 for buying and NPR 103.71 for selling. Likewise, the Singapore Dollar has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 110.24 and a selling rate of NPR 110.70.

For Japanese Yen, the buying rate for 10 units is NPR 9.03 and the selling rate is NPR 9.07. The Chinese Yuan has been fixed at NPR 20.24 for buying and NPR 20.33 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 38.00 and a selling rate of NPR 38.16, while the Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 39.00 for buying and NPR 39.16 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 4.54 and a selling rate of NPR 4.55. The UAE Dirham stands at NPR 38.81 for buying and NPR 38.97 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 34.96 and a selling rate of NPR 35.11. The South Korean Won (100 units) is fixed at NPR 9.66 for buying and NPR 9.70 for selling. The Swedish Kroner has been set at NPR 15.38 for buying and NPR 15.44 for selling, while the Danish Kroner stands at NPR 22.34 for buying and NPR 22.44 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 18.32 and the selling rate at NPR 18.40. The Kuwaiti Dinar has been fixed at NPR 463.94 for buying and NPR 465.89 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 378.11 for buying and NPR 379.70 for selling, while the Omani Rial has a buying rate of NPR 370.23 and a selling rate of NPR 371.79. Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian Rupees is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also been noted that the exchange rates determined by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
