KATHMANDU: Narendra Sah Kalwar, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) from Sarlahi-3, has also been found on a blacklist. He has been placed on the blacklist of the Credit Information Bureau.

Kalwar’s name surfaced on the blacklist after the candidacy of Kishori Sah Kamal, a candidate for the House of Representatives from Dhanusha-1, was annulled for the same reason.

According to details from the Credit Information Bureau, Kalwar was most recently blacklisted by the center on 20 November 2024, and the listing still appears to remain in effect.

Kalwar, who is involved in the construction business, has been accused of leaving several projects incomplete despite taking contracts for them.

In the previous election, he contested as a candidate from the then CPN (Maoist Center) but was defeated by Hari Prasad Upreti of the CPN (UML) by a narrow margin. This time, he has filed his candidacy from the RSP.

However, the Election Commission has not yet made any decision regarding his candidacy.

His name remains active on the Credit Information Bureau’s blacklist, where it appears under entry number 89635.
