KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.
The exchange rate for US Dollar (USD 1) has been set at a buying rate of Rs 148.67 and a selling rate of Rs 149.27.
Similarly, the buying rate for Euro (EUR 1) is Rs 171.22 and the selling rate is Rs 171.91. The UK Pound Sterling (GBP 1) has a buying rate of Rs 196.15 and a selling rate of Rs 196.94, while the Swiss Franc (CHF 1) is set at Rs 185.61 (buying) and Rs 186.35 (selling).
Among other currencies, the Australian Dollar (AUD 1) is Rs 102.45 (buying) and Rs 102.86 (selling), the Canadian Dollar (CAD 1) is Rs 106.60 (buying) and Rs 107.03 (selling), and the Singapore Dollar (SGD 1) is Rs 115.52 (buying) and Rs 115.98 (selling).
In Asian currencies, Japanese Yen (JPY 10) is Rs 9.32 (buying) and Rs 9.35 (selling), Chinese Yuan (CNY 1) is Rs 21.60 (buying) and Rs 21.69 (selling), Saudi Arabian Riyal (SAR 1) is Rs 39.60 (buying) and Rs 39.75 (selling), and Qatari Riyal (QAR 1) is Rs 40.77 (buying) and Rs 40.93 (selling).
According to the central bank, Thai Baht (THB 1) stands at Rs 4.55 (buying) and Rs 4.57 (selling), UAE Dirham (AED 1) at Rs 40.48 (buying) and Rs 40.64 (selling), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR 1) at Rs 36.88 (buying) and Rs 37.03 (selling), and South Korean Won (KRW 100) at Rs 9.84 (buying) and Rs 9.88 (selling).
Likewise, Swedish Krona (SEK 1) is Rs 15.76 (buying) and Rs 15.74 (selling), and Danish Krone (DKK 1) is Rs 22.92 (buying) and Rs 23.01 (selling).
For high-value currencies, Hong Kong Dollar (HKD 1) is Rs 18.97 (buying) and Rs 19.05 (selling), Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD 1) is Rs 484.35 (buying) and Rs 486.30 (selling), Bahraini Dinar (BHD 1) is Rs 393.78 (buying) and Rs 395.36 (selling), and Omani Riyal (OMR 1) is Rs 386.16 (buying) and Rs 387.71 (selling).
The exchange rate for Indian Rupee (INR 100) has been set at Rs 160.00 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time if necessary. Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
