KATHMANDU: The Western Disturbance system, combined with local wind circulation, continues to influence meteorological conditions across the country. This has resulted in precipitation over multiple regions, including the Kathmandu Valley.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces are currently under complete cloud cover. Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is being recorded in select areas of Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
Meteorological projections indicate that precipitation intensity will increase during the afternoon, with certain locations potentially experiencing heavy rainfall and snowfall.
