Here are the asset details of Health Minister Nisha Mehta

KATHMANDU: Nisha Mehta, Minister for Health and Population, has declared her assets, including land ownership, bank deposits, gold holdings, and investments in shares, according to details made public by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Mehta has stated that she purchased 7 annas of land in Saukhel, Kathmandu, for Rs 5.6 million. She has also disclosed that her family members collectively own around 8 bighas of land.

In her disclosure, Mehta said she used her salary to invest in land purchases as well as in multiple company shares.

She has invested in four companies, including 69 shares of GHL worth Rs 1,465; 988 shares of HDHA worth Rs 19,888; 28 shares of GBLV worth Rs 36,596; and 64 shares of NIFRA worth Rs 17,202.

Mehta has also declared 30 tolas of gold and 50 tolas of silver, which she said were received as dowry and gifts.

Her bank deposits include Rs 723,536 in Machhapuchchhre Bank and Rs 100,000 in Sanima Bank.

She further disclosed purchasing a Hyundai Grand i10 vehicle worth Rs 2.5 million, reportedly financed through her salary.
