Grade 12 final exams begin nationwide in Nepal

KATHMANDU: The Grade 12 final examinations at the secondary level began today (Monday) across Nepal. The exams are being conducted by the National Examination Board, with a total of 418,800 students participating nationwide.

According to the Board, 332,178 students are appearing under the regular category, while 85,830 students are taking the exams as partial (retake) candidates.

The Board has stated that students from the year 2079 BS onward are eligible to sit for the partial examinations this year. Additionally, 36 students from Everest School in Japan are also participating in the Grade 12 exams starting today.

For the examinations, 1,421 exam centers have been designated across the country. As per the schedule, the exams will conclude on May 10.
