KATHMANDU: The hilly and mountainous regions are expected to remain generally cloudy, while the Terai will see partly cloudy conditions, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division said that on Tuesday, some places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces, along with a few areas in other provinces, are likely to witness moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning. There is also a chance of snowfall in higher elevations.

Tonight, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are expected to remain generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies.

A few places in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces may receive moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning, while one or two locations in other provinces could see similar weather conditions, including possible rainfall or snowfall, the division added.
